    I had a Kobe burger at cheesecake factory, it was really gross. It was like as if you marinated a burger in straight cane sugar water

    Kobe beef is supposed to just be marbled, ie. fat through the tissue so it has a softer butter texture. it shouldn't be any sweeter than regular beef.

    also a lot of shit gets called 'kobe' or 'wagyu' just to drive prices up

    I'll have you know all my crack was looked in a designated metal measuring cup and Pyrex bowl. It was just the fact that the meat was such high quality. Like 30% fat.

    And a potato bun is made with potato starch in addition to wheat I think. It just make a more fluffy, less bready bun in my experience.

    I'm a big fan of pickled jalapeños on my swiss mushroom burgers. I don't know if you get them in the UK. Even at the international grocery store here there are only two brands and both of them are Mexican.
