Some people aren't afraid, I know this indian *native american girl* that picks up dead animals all the time and turns them into jedielry. She's actually pretty cool. But here in my neighborhood squirrels / mice / rabbits get hit by cars all the time. There was one time I was walking down the street and there were so many dead squirrels in the street that the cars were re-running over them and they were just flying into the air.. I went around the block because personally for me I'd freak out if one of them hit me.
My cousin died a few years back and I went to his funeral and I went on a bunch of vicodin and gabapentin not because I didn't think I could handle seeing him dead but just to be around my family but when I finally went up to his casket and petted and reached out and touched him but there was a part of me that was really put off by the experience.
When my cat bubba died I put him in my freezer to bury him when I got off work and I opened up the box and was kind of shocked for a second to see that.
Some people like the aztecs actually embraced death. I'm actually more worried about the people I love dying than I am myself, not that I want to die.

Oh yeah another time when I was like six I was running barefoot through the back yard and stepped on a dead bat, and it had this look on its face that was pretty damn scary, I ran away really fast. creeped me out pretty bad.

I actually saw a perfectly preserved squirrel the other day. Pretty sure it died because of the cold or something. Big too.
I thought briefly about how cool it would be if I was a taxidermist then thought it's probably better that my hobbies don't involve driving around looking for dead animals.

Ever seen this before? Pretty crazy, some people see it as morbid but those monks saw it as a good thing. I don't believe in dinosaurs but people supposedly do that and people don't bat a lash at that.
