Why are you only considering African locations OP? Too poor to buy a ticket to Asia?

From what I hear they will offer it to you and then try to scam you for more money by threatening you with police in various ways.

I'm not about to pay €500 and sit in a plane for 8 hours just to enjoy 2 or 3 days away.

There is the language issue, and unlike you I don't speak Chinese.

Just was talking to my Aunt, who was there. All the stories about it make it sound absolutely horrendous. And there's too much hassle with language too. And I'm just not in the mood to deal with sand-niggers right now.

I just booked a hotel in Cardiff for the end of next week. I'll be taking the train and ferry over. Maybe I'll meet a nice chubby Welsh gf, who knows. I find the Welsh accent sexy.

Lol you're really gonna let a language barrier stop you from traveling? You already know English. You'll get around. And even if they dont know English, you can communicate a lot with hand signals and sounds.

One time I was in a Taxi and the guy didn't speak English. I forgot how to say "Monkey Mountain" in Chinese and the Chinese name didn't have Monkey in it either. My phone wasnt working so I just started making monkey noises. I still dont know where he took me but it was this beautiful cliffside against the waves and there were tons of Monkeys. On the way back I told him I was hungry in Chinese but had problems remembering anything but ingredient type things like 'pork, noodle, rice, etc" so I told him "I want to go to good food". He took me to some good food. Still don't know where I went exactly but it worked out.

Obviously some places you do not want to travel alone without speaking any of the language, but google translate, minor studying, and hand signals will get you far.

Thats IF the touristy places dont speak English. Which they will.

I don't really like touristy places. I find them a little boring. Especially when travelling alone, other tourists tend to be in groups, and it makes me feel like an odd-ball.

I've never really taken time to explore Britain, despite it being so close. I know so little about it. I think it will be a really interesting trip. I have booked Tuesday and Wednesday in a cheapish (€50 a night) hotel in Cardiff, and then I'll make up my mind on what I will do - I might go to London for a day or two, or I may just head home.

I'm taking a rail and sail ticket over, even though it's a little more expensive than flying it allows you to see so much more. It's about €50, whereas Ryanair are doing flights to London for €14 right now. But the journey is much nicer by boat and by rail.

Doesn't have to be that touristy for them to speak English. But that sounds like a good trip. I hope you get stabbed faggot
