Make Latest Threads the landing page

First time visitors should see the threads, not the forums. The forum list should be just be linked by a Forum Index button under Latest Threads. Move About to the bottom, below the page jump of possibly next to the ISS footer because nobody reads that shit, it 100% doesn't need a dedicated nav button.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

2019-09-26 at 3:31 AM UTCMy ideal solution would be to just make one big Latest Threads page with a drop-down box at the top thqt can fΓlter for individual forum topic. When you hit "create a thread", you select a forum topic to categorize it to from a similar drop-down box.
Functionally very little would change, it would just streamline everything down to one page, retaining the existing forum sorting while condensing it down to one drop-down box.
DDBs are already part of ISS design, I think it would look rather nice to just zap About, keep Latest Threads and then have the DDB at the top of Latest Threads, under create a new thread. -

Or put a recent topics bar on the side of the page so every page has active topics on it. -

what he is saying some people talk on the Film/Movie forum and some on Conspiracy forum and so on..
he is saying all new threads should be the front page with a menu to access forums individually if they want. but many are dead because everyone floods SG with "This is not a SG thread" meme remark or SP or whatever is said. -

This would be a good idea. It kept totse active at times and fueld a lot of dramafests that were both hilarious and sometimes informative. It also showed you some really cool specialist threads you might've missed. But seeing as this site is mostly just n00bs with autism and low IQs rather than actual totse members, it's more a social experiment for lanny to stroke his ego with. -

No he's not. We've had a conversation about figuring out a way to stretch the page horizontally for larger displays. The single column design is because there's nothing else coded for the sides. -
