I've opened several diners but at my new side gig, I felt super out of place. The guy that hired me was pretty cool and showed me how to login into their system ect.. and I came in with a trimmed beard and dressed nicely, and it was just 3 hippy slobs sitting in a dark room looking at 3D blue prints (looked actually kinda cool) and I was like "Hey guys I'm Bill Krozby" and they were just blankly staring at me like I was from mars. I had to be like "okay who's ryan here"... (the guy that hired me said the other two don't talk to anyone) and I logged into the cloud and followed the very vague steps the guy wrote out who couldn't even do some of the stuff himself.. and I was just pounding on a keyboard and getting nowhere and asked Ryan a questions the guy that knows everything and he was just like "where do I go from here..?" and he was like "just do the addendum 2 agenda 21 option" and there was no option for that.. and I just realized I could sit here all day spinning around in this chair and drink booze and these 3 guys would never even bat an eye and no work will get done on my part as they are doing their own job.
So I went outside and called the boss (he's out of town because thats what he does and wanted me to do the menial task for him) and he just kinda laughed and was like yeah they probably don't care what you're doing because it doesn't affect them, thats why I hired you. But he agreed to actually train me when he comes back this weekend and that those guys don't know anything except their job so they wouldn't help me.
So we'll see how it goes, I don't want to be babysat but I really had no idea what I was doing for the most part, I felt kinda awkward but at least the guy said I can still comeback after he shows me what to do over the weekend. He could barely do it himself when I met with him yesterday. I'm always up for a challenge but when I completely don't know whats going on It's kinda hard to wing it like I thought I could and I even went in completely sober and went to sleep at 8pm for the first time in my life.
Luckily the guy already paid me. I just hate feeling big stupid head and I'm like that starting new jobs but at least the people I'm used to working with are willing to help me out and make it easier on everyone by catching me up to speed. Got my jelly rolled

didn't read but it sounds like you're getting bullied. Perhaps you should wear a pink t shirt
I don't think I got bullied I think I was just around 3 hippie nerds doing a different job they were focusing on and don't care about other things. I want to the guy that hired me to properly show me what I have to do so I don't have to talk to them. Like I'd never been in an atmosphere like that, they get paid regardless of what I have to do and they couldn't care less, It was easy to tell compared to any other job I've had.
Thats cool that youre taking this seriously, brochacho. Proud of you.
You didnt even do anything wrong. You cant be expected to know how to do stuff youve never done before. If theyre too useless to show you how for the time being, then thats on them. Just do whatever else you can do till boss gets back.

I bring the chillest of vibes and good tidings to all.
Except Wariat. I hope he fucking dies fr. Or...idk if I hope he dies, but I hope he gets violently preyed upon by gay black dudes so he can understand the effects his behaviors have on other people. Homelessness would also be an acceptable outcome.

Thanks the guy that hired me while being a total egghead but is pretty chill and understanding. Like I said I'm sure its not that hard work but if you just throw the average gont into that he'd probably have some problems. I've opened several diners and I screwed up a lot of things but it came out full circle and I was on top helping other people out.
It's just a very close nit company and I realize that if you screw something up its not just apologizing and making another pizza pie and calling it a day. Up for the challenge though and I'm sure if I get it down it will probably be boring but I'd be good at it.
like i totally get it architects / engineers, think a very different way, thats why I'm asked to do the bitch whore work but I just didn't really think I could get any work done at the moment.
You should have kept your last job with all of those interesting people from your town. I liked reading about those people and how you interacted with them.

We should all be proud of mr kr0z, at least he is trying, making the effort. I know this one junkie that lives with his grandparents and refuses to ever get a job, and he's trying to make his gf get a job. He started being mean to her today, and I suspect it was really just an attempt at faking an argument as an excuse to have autistic makeup sex. Autistics invented the concept I'm pretty sure.

u should use this job to save money & go to vocational school to get certified in something worth-while instead of staying stuck in all these white-trash drug-addict nigger jobs
