Just to one up sploo on the edgyness ill make this confession

2017-01-18 at 9:56 PM UTCA number of years ago I was living in this apartment block. Very low income place so we had a lot of people who were retarded and disabled. One of my neighbors was among the retarded lot. An old fellow with a broken body and mind. Anyway during my time there he had a medical issue and ended up going to the hospital for an extended stay.
One night I randomly checked to see if his door was locked and found it was not. I went inside the apartment which was an absolute mess. Among the mess was a multitude of pill bottles. The guy must have been on a dozen different meds. I grabbed a bag and loaded up on all the pills and checked around for anything else that might be valuable. There was little that was actually of value but my sweep turned up a small amount of money and some other goodies. Anyway I ended up with an assload of benzos and some other meds and ended up going on a bit of a bender from that.
Am I a bad person because I did this or am I a bad person because I don't feel bad about it?The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

like 4 months ago i threw a cinderblock through my neighbors window and stole all of their drugs and like 400$ of weed
they knew and didnt even press charges because they liked me too much and i still live next to them

Sorry, you're not really one upping anyone. Every degenerate like us has a story like this. Yours isn't even particularly entertaining.
Most people would shun you if you told them that story, and even your family would be wary to have you over at their homes.
Everyone does something bad at some point. What matters to people is what you do and how you feel after. By most standards, being an unrepentant thief would be considered wrong. Stealing only once or a few times even wouldn't be so bad if you felt true remorse and changed your behavior to reflect that. -
