For years I have ignored this guy because of his association with vaporwave, but last night I watched this vid and actually I'm quite enjoying his stuff.
    Very trancy and psychedelic.

    anybody here into OPN?

OPN is awesome. A lot of people consider Replica to be his best work, it was definitely his breakthrough album and really good. I personally liked Garden of Delete more, some people said it was too "dance-y" but these people are hipsters and I promise you nothing from that album got anywhere near a dance floor. One of the things I really like about OPN is that he's an artist who does challenging and sometimes abrasive weird stuff but still considers himself in conversation with electronic music broadly defined, as opposed to retreating into a micro-genre and scorning the rest of the world.

He wrote this little essay a couple years ago that I really liked too:

He just seems like a thoughtful, coherent, interesting dude even if he comes of a bit weird in interviews and stuff.
