2019-11-10 at 1 AM UTCAre you trolling OP
how anyone can not outgrow conventional turn based combat games especially at that level of simplicity is beyond me.
I get the cutesy japan thing being in vouge right now, but the level of time commitment required to zombie-game those things is astounding -

Nope. You probably just suck at strategy and dont even know what EVs or IVs are. It's the best game in existence, and highest grossing media franchise OF ALL TIME by about 15 billion. -
2019-11-10 at 3:46 AM UTCYeah but it was a marketing ploy since day 1 making two versions of the same game. They failed at competitive online and don't give a shit about older generations and preservation of data
What's the point in buying old games and physical hardware when you can never get something like a surfing Pikachu into a new version. Eventually you will hit a wall and can't transfer pokemon into any newer games.
I don't know exactly what it is but I know it's not possible. It's kind of neat to be able to collect all the pokemon but it requires you to spend hundreds of dollars if you haven't saved the shit since childhood
Like to get a legit Mew you need a Wii with pokemon ranch and then have to transfer to a DS game
You would think they would be nice to the people that have hundreds of dollars in hardware and have some way to transfer gen I pokemon to 3DS, Switch and newer hardware but they don't
they don't give a shit about the real fans of the game. That's why there's no gen 1 in sword and shield because it's embraced the meme that it's just a casual children's product now and fuck every other demographic. Sure the competitive is still available but it's just for autists and fanboys
There is no point in playing the handheld games on original hardware unless you're speed running it. There's a reason Pokemon Stadium 2 has a Gameboy Emulator with triple turbo
You can experience it yourself for only a few hundred dollars. Or just emulate it all for free -
2019-11-10 at 3:53 AM UTCSorry,
It's not "Sword and Shield"
It's "Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield" because the greedy corporate kikes at Nintendo force anyone in the media to call it Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield
That's how you can tell who got the memo and who didn't. You know someone had a meeting with the Nintendo Rep and remembered it's "Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield"
Because you don't want to be the one asshole that's not sucking the corporate dong and calls it "Sword and Shield" on live TV with the president of Nintendo watching, that's how you get SHUNNED in the professional Japanese business world and they throw your business card in the trash.
That's your high grossing media franchise for you -
2019-11-10 at 6:09 AM UTCI have a legit mew. You just do the glitch in yellow then another glitch to change the trainer ID to the one from the Japanese event in 2000 and then you can transfer it to any post 6th gen game through the transporter and bank. Any game from 3rd gen and up is transferable to modern games.
Except in sword and shield, the only Pokémon game without every pokemon because fuck you that's why. It doesn't even have bulbasaur because ??? Has fucking charmander's line though. -

The strategy. The achievement.
I spent 15 hours over the last 6 months trying to hatch a specific shiny Pokémon. Then, I had to EV train it by battling specific Pokémon and buying protein to get it to evolve into the correct Pokémon. Tyrogue to Hitmonlee. Shiny Hitmonlee is a green potato and has higher stats than normal Hitmonlee. Plus he's already got max attack buff so he destroys most Pokémon 10 levels higher.
Soon I'm going to have a shiny farm using the shiny ditto glitch you do by trading a red garydos to gen 1, getting TM31 from the copycat girl to teach it mimic, trade back to gen 2, forget all moves but mimic, trade back to gen 1, then you fight a ditto. It transforms into a garydos, garydos uses mimic to transform into a ditto, then the ditto uses transform to go BACK into a ditto but this time it'll copy your 'shiny stats' and if you catch it and transfer to gen 2, it'll be shiny, then you can breed with it for a 1/64 shiny chance rather than a 1/8192 chance. Plus you can use it to breed shinies for Pokémon without a gender, such as magnemite, more dittos, or HTS.
These can be used for fun, flexing, and trading.
Meanwhile other games don't even have shiny monsters, and thus are essentially piles of shit not worth gazing at from the bargain bin at gamestop where they belong.
