You know what... It's true. And it's why modern 'democracy' is so dysfunctional.

It's not explicitly about the listed groups, but the fact that the concept of Democracy is to serve the will of the majority and that 'Western Liberal Democracy' does the opposite by endlessly pandering to fringe and minority groups.

It is somewhat backwards appearing on the surface, to pander to fringe and minority groups within a system that is ostensibly meant to serve the majority, but the fringes and minorities make up a goodly chunk of "the people" and democracy (by merit of its very name) is intended to empower "the people".

Don't take that as my support for democracy though - I do think it is a fundamentally broken concept. Strong, centralized authority in the hands of a benevolent dictator is the most stable form of government. UwU

That's why the US was formed as a republic. In fact even the Romans learned from the failed Greek experiment in mob rule called democracy and after 500 years of monarchy formed a republic.

The Republic was weak, corrupt, and decadent and the glory of Rome had to be salvaged in the end by the Julian line of emperors. America needs a leader through whose veins flows the blood of Jupiter himself. America's problem is that it didn't learn from the failures of the Grecians or the Romans.

The Roman republic lasted for over 500 years before declining into an empire. In history the average lifespan of a nations constitution has been a mere 17 years. The U.S. Constitution which is the framework of the "Republic" has lasted for 231 years. So you'll have to excuse me for believing that it is better than any idea that you, someone who can't accurately determine their own gender, could ever conceive.

If the Republic was so good, how ever did it "decline" into an Empire? Clearly the Republic needed an emperor and the stability they provided to survive/thrive.

    Also 500 years as a republic < 1000 year Empire. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

That is complete bullshit. The Republic of Rome ended in 27 B.C. After Rome enjoyed 500 years of growth both geographically and militarily under the Republic it only continued to grow, at a slower rate, for another 154 years until 117 A.D. when it reached it largest geographical size under Emperor Trajan who reigned for the last two decades before the start of the decline. Rome existed for about 1500 years total. About 500 as a monarchy, about 500 as a Republic, and a little less that 500 as an Empire. During the first two periods she saw steady growth in power, wealth and influence. During the third period she saw mostly war, decline, and eventually total collapse.

the republic ended with the formation of standard oil, US steel, wall street and the consolidation of several banks into the Fed.

the real republic was long dead and what have you now is its zombified carcass.

More bullshit from a cows mouth. I'm amazed.

In September 476, a Germanic prince named Odovacar won control of the Roman army in Italy. After deposing the last western emperor, Romulus Augustus, Odovacar’s troops proclaimed him king of Italy, bringing an ignoble end to the long, tumultuous history of ancient Rome. The fall of the Roman Empire was complete.

Emperor Constantine moved the capital of the Empire from Rome to Constantinople in 330AD... 140 years before that happened. And I think you'll find that the Empire's capital in Constantinople lasted over 1000 years.

No matter how you slice it, the weak and corrupt Republican system collapsed under its own decadent weight and the glory of Rome could only be salvaged by becoming an Empire - not exactly a mark in favor of the Republic. And then that Empire proceeded to last either almost as long as the Republic did, or more accurately three times as long as the Republic did.

Republics and democracies are at best on par with authoritarian rulership, and at worst SIGNIFICANTLY less successful.
