I made minimum wage right out of highschool, so I actually almost tripled that in 10 years. My post wasn't clear, but I was saying there used to be a time when I aspired to make $10/hr and now I'm dreaming about $25/hr. It's just crazy where life takes you when you just buckle down and work hard.
Yeah, my wife and I have gone over the budget time and time again and have figured out we'd be able to survive off of $16/hr, but now that's what she makes, and I obviously make more than that, so for the first time since having kids we're starting to feel like things will be okay. We've both been making adult decisions and are starting to see the reward.
Get rid of the wife before she takes everything you have. You think I'm kidding, bookmark this thread for when you get served divorce papers -
