It gets rid of your computer's religion and notion of a legitimate state as well!

It's not simulated MS-DOS either, it's just a command prompt that's aesthetically similar MS-DOS's. That's like saying running bash on Win 10 is simulated linux. It's not, not even close.

I'm telling you because it makes you look pretty dumb when you confuse an OS for something that looks like its shell and I thought you might want to avoid showing your ass like that in the future.

I've used the original MS-DOS extensively for 30 years, kid. So I can tell you the simulated MS-DOS presented in MS-Windows is virtually identical to the real thing. You haven't got a clue what you are talking about, son.

Don't be ridiculous, kid. I've worked as an L3 tech support supervisor for years at several major telecommunications companies, including Time Warner, Charter Communications, RoadRunnr, and AT&T. I handled Time Warner Business Class tech support contracts worth millions on a day to day basis. Hotel chains, casinos, government, store chains, law enforcement, fire departments, you name it, all of it was my responsibility to maintain technologically. And believe you me, nobody gets that job that hasn't earned it, and then some. And if you make even one major mistake, you would be fired outright. I lasted a decade and then quit, many years than any other L3 supervisor. My crew under my teach and command was numbered at more than 650 techs. And then you come along and insist I don't know what an operating system is?

And about simulated MS-Dos, almost all the same files from the original MS-Dos OS are used in the simulated Windows-Dos. If it really were "not MS-DOS at all", then it wouldn't have to use the same files. You capeesh, kid?

What "files" would those be? Name five actual files.

HAHAHA, holy fucking shit dude, you're bragging about being L3? HAHAHAHA holy shit dude you don't even know what a joke that is. I am cracking the fuck up spectroll. Dude, DUDE, I was L4 (as were all junior and intermediate developers) as a technicality in my first job out of college. Bro, you were king of fucking call support, not only were you a loser but you were king of the losers. I would straight up kill myself if my job was L3 tech support. When your bullshit spills over we would draw straws to decide who had to deal with you. Man spectral, on one level I don't give a flying fuck about what job or qualification you have because you're a retard regardless, but the fact that you wanted to brag about being L3 tech support is hilariously pathetic.

Look up what a Shell is Spectral, then look up what an operating system is.

You should already know this, Rodent. If you don't, you're what one might call technically illiterate.

    command.com
    arp.exe
    control.exe

The only reason L4 argues about who is going to take L3's tickets is because none of them have a clue what they are doing. They all got their jobs through Cousin Elmo, or through their butt-buddy the operation manager, who they smoke a joint with on the sly at lunch time. You guys are posers. You may be very good code monkeys, but put you in the real world of network nightmares and you run and hide like babies. I know this for a fact. In reality, there is no L4; it's a myth. It's a department of yukyuks pretending to be techs who just sit there all day doing nothing, because there's nothing they can really do.

L4 is pretty much a myth because they're actually developers who got some bullshit stuck onto their job description as a result of turn over in support being like the worst in the world (it's easier to retain child soldiers than tech support) because no one in their right mind would want to do that shit-tier job a moment longer than is strictly necessary to not starve.

Listen, I shouldn't talk shit because tech support does suck, you work hard for bad pay and most people there don't come close to deserving the shit that gets shoveled in their faces daily. Granted. But dude, it's tech support. It's like the sloppy seconds of mediocre developers. I would feel sympathy if you told me that was your job but for the fact that you wanted to brag about it.

heh, I honestly can't stop chuckling over this. It's really made my day, or multiple days, it would make perfect sense that you climbed the ranks of tech support, it explains your whole mentality perfectly.

So by your logic if I bought the license for Packard automobiles and started to manufacture them there would be no difference between my 2017 Packard and a 1954 Packard. In other words numbnuts just because MS named a new 32 or 64 bit file and gave it a the ability to emulate an old command line function and even named it the same does not make it a DOS file.

Nice try though very someone who is technically illiterate.

Actually, dum-dum, they're 16-bit files. Windows files are 32-bit files.

When my internet goes out I flip out, restart the computer and router multiple times, unplug shit, blame my government for running a third world country. Blame capitalism for failing me in technological society.

Throw cash at my monitor then when it works go "FUCJING FINALLY CUNTS!!! HATE YOU ALL!!"
