Was their nuclear power plants before nuclear weapons? I forget how the story went but Germany was looking to Switzerland for the supplies they needed to build a nuke.

It would have worked yes, their fatal flaw was having like three teams working on the bomb. This way they had to split up the Uranium cubes they were using over three sites. Which meant none of the sites had enough Uranium to achieve criticality in a reactor or bomb.

Heavy water and Uranium was the design. It's because heavy water has extra neutrons to emit.

Also a nuclear power plant is just a controlled nuclear explosion, really.

Apparently when they go critical as in the event of an Earthquake.. Sea Water isn't idea to use to cool it down.

You need to stop the reaction somehow when things go wrong. IDK if Boron works best for heavy water reactors, but it's a common element in control rods. It depends on the design of the reactor really. But i'm not a nuclear physicist so what do i know.

The salt and other minerals react with the rod. that is what caused the explosion. the water becomes heavy when the rod is in there until it drains (is how it was explained to me) Yet, I believe the water is distilled. removed of all minerals when they first place a rod into the reactor tanks.

Zitler should of just minded his own damn business. He's a war criminal like George Bush. We had no business invading Afghanistan and Iraq.

Basically all a nuclear explosion is is nuclear fuel getting incredibly hot incredibly quickly.

There are radiation pressures too, but the heat is the main thing.
