That's my point, I can't think of a single reason to have a $RACE history month, black white or otherwise.
I was originally going to say white history month would be extra stupid because "white" history is hardly even a thing until fairly recently in our history (that is white Europeans and Americans would hardly consider themselves any kind of unitary group prior to mass media, the "white" race being very culturally diverse) but then I guess the same applies to black history month because as far as I can tell it's about the american minority subset of the black whole. -

Even if you consider pax romana a meaningful cultural unification of the groups within Rome's martial boundaries (which I think a good argument can be made against) it didn't last long and it didn't include like half of Europe. -
