That's what I mean, if I saw sploo walk into a shop and I was security I'd be keeping an eye on him, he might be baby faced and young but he has that druggy/sketchy demeanour.
It's different here, if you get caught they just stick you in a single cell for a few hours and then give you a caution. You literally get a caution for everything first couple times.
You have to commit like 20 minor crimes here for them to even consider sending you to prison

damn, weird, here you go to jail for any crime basically, and they send you to prison only if you commit a "major" crime. no matter how many minor crimes you've done.

No man it's just the UK criminal justice system, it's awesome.
We don't have jails and prisons like America. Just prisons where you go if you're held on remand/denied bail/been sentenced to prison.
When you get arrested you get taken to a cell in a police station for upto 24 (possibly 48) hours and then released

That's why I'm glad I don't live in America, cos I know if I do get arrested then all that's guna happen is I'm guna go in a cell, get a cuppa tea, get a curry/all day breakfast, have a nap, be interviewed and then released. No possible chance of ass rapes

I'm not sure SF is lenient. The SFPOA pretty much hate the homeless, we just have a bunch of laws saying ways you can't abuse them
