You ever get the feeling that you're not wanted at work

I don't think they like me.

But they don't know about the fraud I indulge in or the human trafficking I contribute too.

Is it because I don't talk to anyone at work?

A couple of people really don't like me, like I posted about before.

The higher ups seem to like me as I solve problems and always try to make their lives easier - I try to never come to them with a problem, I always come to them with a solution.

isn't OP the one who was continually going on about how everyone at work was out to get him and the 'man in the hat' was undermining him at work

That’s the point. Work doesn’t like you, because you don’t like work. That’s why it’s called work.

Yes. I remember your thread. It was in the appropriate section for a work related thread.

I don't ever have any complaints or solutions to bring to my managers. If you were snorting a line of coke off your desk, I wouldn't say anything.

    I just keep to myself.

I try not to complain. I come to my bosses with problems with easy solutions. For instance I recently installed a caching solution on a VPS, and brought it to my boss for approval. We currently have a room that is too dark, so I have gotten replacement lighting nearly researched, and will bring it to my boss for approval.

I would never go to my boss saying something like "I don't know what this means, will you figure it out for me and explain it back to me. By the way, I haven't included all the details, so you will need to interrogate me to figure out what is going on", like my report does to me.

People higher up in the food chain exist in a continuous state of cognitive overload, and appreciate simplicity. They want to hear "this is the best solution, here is the well researched and thoroughly documented explanation why, here is how much it will cost, here is why it cannot be done any cheaper. Approve it whenever is convenient".

    Just a simple choice. Y/n.
