This weekend it took me an insane length of time to get to Obbe and Ghost's badlands on your skyway, but Ghost showed me the way back through the nether. Distances in the nether are something like 1/8th the distances of the over-world, so that would be the preferable way to go. -

You are right.
The skyway is more like a beacon in the world. I want to extend it to all overworld settlements that would like to be connected. I think it gives us a sense of being one large network.
For actual travel, I'd like to build nether hubs and roads so we can spider out huge distances in the overworld and be connected from the underbelly. -

this doesnt happen to me on normal vanilla now I cant connect gay town to spawn because it keeps making infinite obsidian in a random cave near obbes shitty portal

We now have a path connecting spawn to the gay village. Start at the cathedral and walk to the portal next to Monolith Obelisk and follow the path all the way to Chocolate Mountain. -
