    a lot of skinny puppy's lyrics don't make any literal sense, spasmolytic being a prime example, but I really like some of their odd phrase choices

    Odd you should bring that up because I was thinking about that today.
    I was thinking "Am I dumb or do SP's lyrics not make any sense, do other people understand them?" then I tried imagining someone else trying to make sense of their lyrics.

    Where do you see girlpuke? The didn't ring a bell until I looked it up, I think I also listened to some of his stuff from /mu/ but I don't think I have any of it in my library.

    I think there's exactly one album in there that came out this year. Not sure if it's a shitty year or I'm getting old and don't like new music as much anymore.

    depends on how far along in their discography, Last Rights is my favourite and makes the least sense
    
    the point of a lot of their 'lyrics' is to create imagery more than to tell a story from what I can tell. that's one of the things I like about them, it takes some work to decipher what they're getting at
