   My dog is losing his fur but he still runs around and plays. This past weekend I took him on an hour and a half walk and he did it like a champ. That kind of fur loss is usually because of dry spots that shrivel up the folicles and thus make it fall out. Dryness happens in humans as we age too, although the loss of head hair is more hormonal than because of dry spots.
   
   If you want to make her pretty you can use coconut oil on the spots where its falling out. Not sure what hamsters eat but foods that improve circulation would probably negligibly help. Maybe a new toy to get her moving? IDK.
   
   I wish her the best of luck. I'm sure she's still got some time left in her. Show her all the love you can muster.

   Shes coming up on 2yrs of age which is the average lifespan of a hammy. Shes also becoming weaker and not using her running wheel.as much and she has a hard time climbing up the cage rungs.
   My first one died within 3 wks of me getting him. That was traumatizing as u can imagibe4
