I read an interesting article in TIME a year or so ago about how trust in the FBI has slowly been eroded before Trump managed to shift public opinion against the nations largest police force. I forgot the most prevalent factors at play, I just remember it was interesting and insightful and I forgot all about it because I'm fucking fried -

He went before Congress regarding Ray Dalio policy of full transparency and if he leaked secrets to Bridgewater Associates. The same company Totse's own Jeff Hunter worked at. Head of HR.. They're typically more of a personal outburst, a reaction to pressure felt personally, and if they were serious about forcing real systemic change there are much better options available.
