Yeah I would. I had the same opinion of the electoral system beforehand. It is archaic and creates a system where not all voices are equal, and the majority no longer chooses. Do you seriously like a system in which democracy is put into question by state appointed middlemen, and the majority no longer has power? We don't even do this for other elections, just the presidential election. Absolutely no good reason for it but Trumpets support it because it helped their oompa loompa slip into power. -

You say that because you are so stupid you don't understand that the United Sates is not one thing it is fifty separate things things that all get a fair say. If not for the electoral college 3 states would be telling the other 47 what to do. Ya dumb cunt -

And what, other democratic nations DON'T have their own provinces?
Majority population should determine the future of the majority population. That's what real democracy is. "States" is an arbitrary distinction that shouldn't have a voice in federal elections. Only people should have a voice, and everyone should have an equal one.
You're just afraid because the US is overwhelmingly liberal, and if we all had an equal voice and a fair democracy, we would be electing liberal leaders nonstop. -

A province and a state are not the same. A province owes its sovereignty to a central authority. With states the central authority owes it's sovereignty to the separate sovereign states joined in a federation agreed upon by all member states. To make is simple for your simple mind think of the US as 50 separate nations all working together within in a common agreed upon system of laws and not as one thing made up of 50 equal parts. -

Lmao that is the stupidest thing I've ever read, and I've read your other posts in here.
Federal power always trumps state power. The states are not 'different countries.'
I mean I've seen some mental gymnastics on this site but this is impressive -

2019-09-23 at 11:42 PM UTCEach state holds governmental jurisdiction over a defined geographic territory, and shares its sovereignty with the United States federal government. According to numerous decisions of the United States Supreme Court, the 50 individual states and the United States as a whole are each sovereign jurisdictions.
