I do when I'm at shows or to make my girl friend laugh. But I don't have any professional training, just raw talent I guess. I know some people on tinychat dance like batman (he's a raver and thats cool, just not my kind of dancing)
I've always liked break dancing and several months ago I went to a slipknot concert with my friend and the thing that stood out most to me about their stage presence was the turn table dude, he came out wearing a tuxedo rapper uniform and during most of the show he was dancing his ass off and I wasn't even aware that was something they did until I saw it first hand.
But yeah dancings fun, anyone else here done it or had lessons? I have long awkward looking chicken legs so it probably looks strange when I dance, but oh well its still fun. I was trying out some of these moves last night, maybe I might be good at it eventually

If I'm drunk or happy, you're goddamn right I do. Btman is bretty tame when it comes to hamming to the jams. its an online chatroom so I get that not everyone wants to 'get into it' but if you can't forget your cares and let loose now and again you ain't livin nigguh.
no yeah you're right he is tame to the chat jams, but he was telling me that he gets out of his pad and gets down at raves. I've never been to a full on rave but it sounds rowdy. I'd like to go at least once.
The closest thing I've done to that was I took XTC on Halloween at some forest where they had a fashion show with techno and then some people came out and started spinning fire.
My friends called it a race but nobody was really dancing and it wasn't like what I thought it would be like on TV
I saw the meat puppets a couple years ago and they are so not a *rave* kinda band, but there were two dudes that were obviously rolling there balls off dancing like they were annunaki weirdos and captured the attention of everyone.
I guess a rave is whatever you make it. I've just never been to a "real" one and I've never been to a night club.

Zoklet era I went to a lot of edm shows around here, this was still when Bassnectar and Pretty Lights were playing smaller venues and coming to a town like Fargo.
This was during my 2.5 years of sobriety so I actually went and danced my ass of stone cold sober. If someone would've offered me Molly or what have you I may have partaken but that didn't happen and I always had a blast anyway. Very generous college age rave girl eye candy everywhere, but I payed little attention. Usually just choose an area toward the outskirts of the crowd to have my space to get weird.
Dressed up as a banana a few times and did the cringe glowstick routine. I liek to dance m8s.
They call it combinowanie or are proud of it vs other europeans hwo good they are at finding small ways to hustle or save money in illegal or semi legal ways. for insatcne password sharing on netflix is huge in poland, pirated software, going to store isles and pretending to pay for goods and making it seem like you did only to wlak out for free with them. etc. they call it "combinowanie" and may be the best at it in europe.
I think you are right Sophie. I dunno, I started listening to this stuff when I was like 15 years old before I ever drank or did a drug. Its pretty good meth and MDMA music.

I sometimes dance about when I'm alone and I have the stereo up, or when I'm driving I'm not exactly dancing, but I get into what I'm listening to and have a good time with it. I'm too socially awkward to dance in public, and I haven't been out anywhere recreationally in forever, so mainly I'm alone, but a friend or two has seen me get down before so, yeah.. I will now and again. I enjoy dancing about acting like a weirdo when I have a friend that adds synergy to my weirdness.
Nothing wrong with having fun and cutting lose. I really wouldn't mind getting some MDMA and having a good time though... I really need to get some acid and molly and go out and have a good night once of these days coming soon.
