Yesterday I collected about a dozen buckets back and forth, multiple trips. Water has many uses, in hardcore anarchy survival servers most people have a bucket filled with water at all times.

it's main use is for climbing straight up or down. It's faster than ladders, digging, building and you can pick it right back up and leave no trace.

I was using it for building farms yesterday. I made a superfarm that i'm planning on making automated and i have every plant growing and a 64 tiles wheat farm which is why I had to make so many trips with the buckets and I only finished half the room, I spent 3 hours working on my farm.

You can also use water for a cobblestone generator, aquariums for tropical fish and for making potions with water bottles and a cauldron

Are there cats in minecraft? Maybe you're supposed to leave the bucket full of water sitting out for the stray kitties to drink from.

yes, they are pretty simple though. You tame them with uncooked fish and they just sit around meowing, purring and sitting on your furniture getting in the way.

I made one of those cat towers for mine so it stops jumping on my chests and making it so i cant open them

No, I have been avenging my fallen brothers, blessed as they are in their eternal union with the Bedrock.

Oh Bedrock, we do not hear you, why have you left us, oh Bedrock? We await your orders, oh Bedrock.

You can name cat if you want I will make a shrine to honor your naming of the Sacred Cat of the Monolith.

Scronaldo, I am going to kill your cat, with no admin powers or gear involved. Only in world stuff, starting clean. You have 6 hours to secure your kitty. I will give up after trying for 1 hour.

To move water from location A to location B, or to put water inside a dispenser, or to catch a fish in a bucket for your aquarium, or to save yourself when you fall into lava, or to quickly get to the bottom of a chasm without hurting yourself and having a way to get back up, or to stop a creeper from blowing up your shit, or to hurt an enderman, etc etc.

I've been using it a lot to build my xp farm, using water to "push" mobs around.
