are you taking the brand-name or the generic?

if generic -- is it as effective as the brand-name?

my insurance isn't going to cover pfizer's lyrica next month... only the generic.

they're all held to the same FDA standards unless you're buying from overseas, but I'm guessing insurance wouldn't cover online pharmacy shopping anyway

That was uncalled for, hopefully it's used to get your attitude under control.

I'm sorry you're right, I've been going through a lot and have an itch once your mothers pussy can scratch, due to it's hard bristly hairs

i taking it specifically for fibromyalgia... potent stuff -- brings me back from the dead.

i just needed reassurance because out of all my years of taking pharmaceuticals, i've learned not all generics are created equal -- and with lyrica, only one company manufactures a generic... and it is some god damn company from india.

No, don’t worry. They all have to meet the same FDA standards. You’re good to go!

No, my doctor told me generic manufacturers only have to be within 80% for total ingredient amount. So for a zoloft 100 they could be giving you 80 (and lets be honest)

i know someone who went from regular to generic forum on some type of medication and it fucked them all up. they had to go back to their previous medication.

    Your doctor is wrong.

Why Does It Look Different? Generic drugs are not allowed to look exactly like any other drugs being sold due to U.S. trademark laws. Although the generic drug must have the same active ingredient as the brand-name drug, the color, flavor, additional inactive ingredients, and shape of the medication may be different.Jul 8, 2019

One of the additives must have made him sick. I’ve heard of that happening too.

"The key takeaway is that because the entire 90% CI has to fall within the 80-125% range, the actual PK values of the generic drug must be very close to the mean PK value of the reference product.

Using the statistical criteria required by the FDA, it would be difficult for any generic product to differ more than 10% from the reference to meet the CI requirements, and it would be nearly impossible to meet the CI requirements if the difference approached 20%."
