   The coroner for the Los Angeles Angels Pitcher Skaggs says he died of an "accidental overdose". How is an overdose ruled accidental? I figure this site is the best place to ask.

   You can certainly partake in drugs and alcohol without the intent of wanting to overdose and accidentally overdose. Although I think it’s sorta hard to tell what a deceased persons intentions actually were after the fact.
