Dental insurance in the restaurant industry

2019-08-25 at 5:18 AM UTCIt's really funny because I had braces when I was a kid and now I work with all these chickens that are adults that have braces and apologize when they chafe my chode, they'll at least apologize. Even some of the men do and I talk shit behind there back because of how dorky they look. I would take out the rubber bands as soon as they put them on because it made my head hurt and the dentist ladies and my mom would chew me out even though both my parents have worse teeth than me and I've smoked a lot of tekken3. Anyone else here had braces?

2019-08-25 at 12:51 PM UTCYou're a grown man in your 30s who makes fun of people for wearing braces?
-
2019-08-25 at 12:58 PM UTCSome people’s parents don’t have the money, or the insurance to get them braces. These people wait till they make their own money, and have insurance to help with the braces.
I’m lucky I had insurance and could afford my son’s $6,000 smile. Little shit lost his invisaligns, that keep them in place. He’s an adult now, he can pay for them.
Just think Kr0z, if your daughter needed braces, you couldn’t afford them. She’d have to get them on her own, so making fun of these people is like making fun of people like your daughter. -

He doesn't think like that, his brain is so damaged from alcohol and general retardation that he operates on an 8 year old's maturity level. -

Actually I could afford them considering I pay her medical every week. -
2019-08-25 at 1:58 PM UTCMedical and dental coverage are two different things!

Get out of here with that bs it was just a little bit of shit posting I posted that knowing it was going to trigger people like you. Plus my post was meant to Jack with a certain user here.
Do you know where you're at? -
2019-08-25 at 2:01 PM UTCAnd even if you did have dental coverage on her, could you afford to put out about $3,000 in deductibles?
Kr0z,
Just try to understand the point I’m trying to make. -

You're really making this a bigger deal than it really is. If she ever needed braces which she will she will be able to get them plus she's only six years old right now -
2019-08-25 at 2:10 PM UTCI’m not making a big deal. Just trying to show you reality!
Sometimes I wish I had listened to people’s advise when I was young and dumb. But, it was not meant to be, I had to learn, not only the hard way, but many times in a brutal way.
You do you Kr0z. -

I don't see how braces are hot.. but to each their own.. food gets easily stuck in the wires and brackets and its hard to floss -

2019-08-25 at 8:03 PM UTCYeah I had braces twice and my bottom teeth still shifted, my jaw moved as I got older so they'd have to break it again which is way too expensive, so I can do invisalign but idk if gonna do it or not, if they come at me again with $3000 like they did a while ago I might bite. If they really let me do it interest free over 2 years like they said then that isn't bad for a lifelong smile.
I'm gonna get em knocked out if I can ever afford it. I already got 1 out of 12 done. I wish I didn't yellow my teeth with Adderall. -

yeah my bottom teeth did too. I had a "permanent retainer" AND it broke.. after 7 years.. I go back and pay 100 dollars to get it put back on and 3 weeks later it broke again.. fuck that shit -
2019-08-25 at 8:30 PM UTCYou can get them on the back of your teeth too, which is what I'd probably do if I had to metal ones again. Might cost a bit more though
To my knowledge invisalign isn't really any more expensive than regualr ones so unless you got super fucked up ones like I had not muh reason not to it
What I will say is for the love of god DO NOT EVER DO SMILE DIRECT CLUB
They cost a 60% less but they also straighten your teeth 60% less as well, so unless your teeth are basically straight enough to not need braces anyway, it's not gonna be a good option. I almost did it, really glad I didn't, I had the impressions made and everything, and I looked at the projected result and was like "IS THIS IT?" fuck that, was barely gonna do anything. How much do you expect your teeth to be able to change after 3 months anyway? -
