When you talk online to people...
-
2017-01-01 at 8:03 PM UTCDo you realize you are talking to a person? Do you realize that each person is living a life as vivid and complex as your own? I think most people do not.

This is something I have studied. I am not sure I can agree with each living person has the same level of complexity but the overall notion that other human beings have a lifetime of experience is agreeable. -

I cannot know this i assume this is the case. It feels like the right thing to do. Even though it is irrational to assume anything. -

-
2017-01-01 at 8:50 PM UTCMy life is pretty meaningless so it's often obvious to me that I'm the one without complexity and they are the interesting ones.

Because i would like for people to regard the complexity of my life as at least equal to their own, no matter how complex they think their own lives are. -

Haha, good answer. -
2017-01-01 at 10:52 PM UTCI wouldnt be surprised if there is more limbic activity in "real life interactions" because facial and body language, emotion, voice, but there is none of that in text.. like how people percieve benign comments as malicious because text does not convey emotion
also left parietal lobe would probably be more active typing to someone online -
2017-01-01 at 11:03 PM UTCyea...but it's not like on the forefront of my mind the entire time I'm talking to them ya dig?
-
2017-01-01 at 11:08 PM UTCMy life isn't that vivid nor complex so yea, I guess.
-
2017-01-02 at 12:26 AM UTCHow could I not?.

It's probably not when you talk to people IRL either ya feel? -
2017-01-02 at 3:20 AM UTCIf my mind could comprehend it I wouldn't actually post. It's why so many people make threats and cyber bully and get fucked over irl.
