I like double-edged daggers, the kind that are about six inches long, balanced, and are held in a leather sheath attached to the ankle.

thats assuming bearing knives will protect you like a magical chant.

the truth is ... it cant.

knives, tactical or otherwise, loke guns, are just part of the solution. without training yourself physically and mentally to defend yourself with it, it is almost useless against a determined, or a drug induced, attacker.

you think whipping out your folding knives with a resounding 'click' is going to scare would-be attackers away ?

    think again.

(you might even lose your knives in the process)

Switchblade are interesting though. Guns are best

get a decent framelock knife; Kizer make some very nice knives for the price. there's no way you'll break the lock unless you run over it with a truck or something.

I really want an OTF knife but they're illegal in Australia for some retarded reason. I'm seriously considering getting someone to disassemble one and ship it to me in parts but international shipping is a bitch let along 3-4 lots of it.

After the first divergence, you'd just be another shithead with no knowledge of the future.

If it wasn't the same then you wouldn't have any special knowledge, you'd just be your own experienced self, I.e. some immigrant middle manager. What makes you think it would be significantly different or better if you could be your own mediocre self a bit earlier?

That's the point. You'd just be another shithead with no knowledge of the future.

If you could start over with the knowledge you have now you'd retain that knowledge regardless of the events you might change.

What special knowledge do you have now that would help you back then, that makes it worth doing over?

I guess you could ace school and skip grades etc till you catch up to your true learning level, but then you're back to being at your own level, which isn't anything special.
