2019-08-11 at 8:07 AM UTCIs it difficult to get an even finish?
For reference I can get a nice, even coat with spray paints and airbrushes so I know about distance and light layers but I also know the media is different.
I plan on doing some knife blades and scales, probably just solid colors (maybe masking/layers if it's not too hard) and baking in a cheap sandwich oven (from side of road, vinnies or like $20 at k-mart if I can't find a used one). Also I've heard you probably don't want to cook food in an oven you've used for this. -
2019-08-11 at 1:07 PM UTCIf you can do spray paint and airbrushing you'll be fine. I'm assuming you have the proper air brush thing for it.
Definitely get a toaster oven for this. -

2019-08-11 at 2:34 PM UTCcould you paint and bake porcelain like you can with ancient pottery made from clay? that would be awesome but isn't really relevant to this thread, I just thought of doing it then realized you couldn't with steel.
what you should do is go to the corner of self righteous and midgetbang in Wasilla Alaska and look for the old guy who's always banning people from his roadside shop. He'll know what to do -

potentially I guess you could paint on the powder mix with a brush but it would be very uneven; I think it needs to be even for it to bind properly -

I haven't used powder coats for this, but getting an even coat with a brush isn't THAT difficult. Big wide brush and long strokes. -

poor aldra. living in tight assed arsetralia and without the freedom to bear firearms, he had no choice but to adopt little harmless knives as surrogates for some bery dangerous tactical assault weapons.
when i was about your age i was into knives too, but i couldnt help but feel having knives, tactical or otherwise without guns is just like having balls without penises, amd realizing the futility and the folly of it,
i took a deep breath and let it all go.
now the only knife i use on regular basis is my ceramic folding knife and so far no bags of chips and instant noodles are able to defend themselves against it. -
2019-08-12 at 5:17 PM UTCI might be forced into buying back my new beretta from my relatives (who literally black and white stole them from me) that I broke by using shitty reloaded ammo and not cleaning it for a few times in a row. I wonder if it's still on warranty, I should check. I don't trust that gun, it scares me with the horrible fashion in which it jams.
But also my -.06 perhaps as well if new gun measures go through and drug criminals and mental fucks aren't allowed to buy guns no more.. -

You should report it stolen and call the cops. The fuck? If they negligently discharge and hurt someone you can be charged. Especially if it was in a fucktarded ass place that was easy to steal from. ESPECIALLY if you know its been stolen and haven't reported it. Your family sounds like garbage. Send them to jail where they belong -

you typically dismantle anything mechanical and do the parts separately
hydro dipping is popular for car and bike parts, is pretty wasteful if you're doing small parts -
