    Getting a molar removed soon.

Not looking forward to the procedure. Nor to the recovery. Really hope i get a big ol bottle of opiates for it.

    Is it painful?

I had all four wisdom teeth removed in one procedure and also had a back molar removed years after. The wisdom teeth was painful as fuck but the molar wasn't shit. The wisdom tooth surgeon hooked me up and gave me 90 x 10/325 mg hydrocodone (didn't even need a third that many) but I only got 5 hydros for the molar.

Good chance you won't get shit now because they're really trying to avoid using opioids now when they can.

I'm doing out of pocket (and getting reimbursed later) so hopefully they will? I've heard the same thing from a friend though, just 5 10mg hydrocodones. Hoping Crouton is enough and i won't have to use any of those. But it'd be nice to have on hand.

Did you get a bridge for the molar or implant or anything.

Croutons are only good on salad...bundy seems to help tooth pain for me but percs are better.

I had my wisdom teeth and some molars extracted when I was 13 due to overcrowding. You’ll be fine, just do what they tell you to do for recovery. Avoid straws for a while so you don’t get dry sockets.

I keep reading that but I don't get how straws are a problem. I don't use them anyway. I never eat fast food and i certainly don't use them at home lol.

You need to regularly swish liquid in your mouth to prevent a dry socket; straws get the liquid straight to your throat

I guess some people drink almost exclusively through straws, which is fucking weird

Lol, I have all my wisdom teeth because I have plenty of space. They come in handy.

I got like 5-10 days worth of hydro 7.5's or so, but I told him it still hurted during a follow up visit, so I got some more.

You probably won't get shit today. Honestly, 800mg ibuprofen is sufficient for teeth stuff.

I was knocked out for having a molar removed. Then they gave me a nice vicodin prescription. The worst part was I had to go through a month of a rotten tooth in my mouth.

Yeah, its a myth created by the (((dentites))) that most people need their wisdom teeth extracted. The dentist are trying to both line their pockets and make people stupid.

Is everyone here under the age of 18?

    Ever had a tooth extraction?

I was fucking trying to take my own tooth out with a pair of plyers but knew I would have to cut my gum to do it and gave up

I mean even as a child you get your baby teeth pulled out by the door knob your mom or dad ties it to.

I have a few ((they)) want to take out but I've only had the impacted ones (ie. the ones that were causing extreme pain) removed

you can just let them rot and let the bacterias do the work for you.
