    She sounded a lot like she was making excuses for herself throughout the whole thing. I wonder if she hadn't cut things off with him if the shooting would have happened. It sounded to me she stopped the relationship when he started having mental issues, you would think she would have at least gotten him help or let people cl0ose to him know he was mentally spiraling. How sad

    ETA: I wonder if she has contacted the authorities to give them some insight into what he was going through

    She stated she attempted to contact the parents. Nothing more,no follow up. Probably never happened.

    She bares responsibility. As do the shooters parents. I’m sure a lot of people knew this guys mindset and did nothing.

    Victimizing yourself due to the “stigma” excuse is just that...an excuse.

    I agree, did you get the same feeling that she just made excuses for herself about everything i.e. being drunk. I think she really

    dropped the ball and just left him alone and spiraling into darkness. My God, if she knew he was in a dark place, she should have

    as a decent human being, done more

    I do.

    She seemed to want to promote her poly lifestyle and her own issues,her openess for acceptance of others issues. She basically wrote a piece about knowing someone infamous. It has a self absorbed,narcissistic feel to it. I feel that whole generation is like that. Publicize everything they do. No acts of kindness goes without documentation and likes on social media.

    It does sadly, In her position I don't think I'd publicize how poorly I failed another human being. It'll be interesting to see over

    the next week or so if any of the information she writes about gets into the news. I feel like she owes it to him and his family, the

    victims to go to authorities and let them know about the problems he was having and more insight into why the shootings happened.
