Just seems to me a bit counter-intuitive to have to click the banner each time. We should also upgrade to a wider banner.

Can there also be a "warp drive" button that when pressed makes everything go all trippy and blurry and the lights flash on and off and it opens 50 random threads

Instead of taking constructive advice I find myself, entirely not of my own volition, shit-coding the warp drive feature. Click the beer icon in the footer to see a highly productive use of my time.

I came here to say to click on the banner, but I see that doesn't suffice. Banner homepage navigation has always seemed more intuitive to me, but a nav bar link is a request that always comes up. With only the banner, one reduces clutter and one can also build muscle memory. If using a physical keyboard, it's Home key to get to the top of the page and then top left corner. In searching for a homepage navbar link, it can always be in a different place, especially when banners with varying widths are used. It's all about simplicity and ergonomics.
