2 - It's a laptop from 2017 and windows 10 is perfectly fine, you can turn off all the aids. -

That's why, clicking that "last unread post" link takes you to the last unread post. If you want to start the thread at the beginning click on the title itself. You may end up in a different place than you expect because when you open a thread the "last read post" counter is set to the last post visible on that page, regardless of if you actually read it or not (we're working on eye tracking technology in order to make better dildo ads, but this technology is still a work in progress) -
2019-08-01 at 7:29 PM UTCIt doesn't take me to the last page though
It takes me to the SECOND to last page and will send me straight to a random post, like in that thread (which I never read before). -

The function isn't to take you to the last page, it's to take you the post following the last post which you've "read". If there's a three page thread, and you open the first page, then your "last unread post" is the first post of the second page.
I don't know what to say if you've never opened the thread before, maybe you did and you don't remember it? Do you have an extension or something that does pre-fetching? That might do it. -
2019-08-01 at 7:39 PM UTCYou should change it so it shows the latest post in a thread
-
2019-08-01 at 7:42 PM UTCThere's a "last post" column (on desktop) that you can use for this. The arrow button (titled "last post", which you get on hover) will take you to the last post in the thread.
The last unread post link is good for active threads where you want to keep up. -
2019-08-01 at 8:02 PM UTCThe arrow button is what I was clicking.
