Lmao. Good job benny. You use yabla to figure that out? Not sure where you got kwok as that isnt standard Beijing dialect and probably just you mishearng and attempting to romanize Chinese sounds you do not understand. What is that, the massively outdated Wadewhatever system? That's the one with all the stupid k's isn't it?

Clearly you don't even understand the cultural implications when using the word. Basically means non-Chinese. The Chinese even use it when not in China. Anyone not Chinese is 外国人。 Doesn't matter who or where you are.

No argument. Right then, now that we have established that a dremel is a horrible choice of tools to deconstruct pallets for the purpose of making shelter for a homeless person or any other practical purpose maybe we can get into what to actually do with the materials acquired from the exercise.

The truth is all the pallets should not be taken apart as the frame can easily be made something like in the image below. Cover it with a vapor barrier such as tar paper, Tyvek, or old tarps if that's all that's available. Although tar paper is as little a $1 per Sq ft. Use the lumber from the deconstructed pallets for siding and shingles over top of the vapor barrier. For additional structural integrity and thermal retention finish the interior walls with "siding" as well stuffing newspaper and or rags in the walls first. Make a doorway and that is a the basic close in for a pallet shelter.

^This is just an outline for those of you with hands on experience with basic construction methods. If you have no hands on experience with construction methods this "guide" is not for you.

Tools: Hammer and a flat bar.

Materials: Pallets, vapor barrier, nails (new 12 penny not ones pulled form the pallet unless you like being buried in wood after the first strong storm), hinges for a door, and stove pipe if you plan on heating it.

    ^Pallet Frame Example

*EDIT* This design would require 20 pallets for just the frame.

*EDIT* Additional Tool: Saw to cut the fascia as shown in image.

normally chineses call themselves hua people.

Then make your argument against the right tool for the right job in a thread about using a dremel to make furniture from pallets.

Benny is right about a Dremel being the better option but failing to remember that a power tool is probably not a great option for some homeless bitch in the woods. I guess she could break down the pallets near an outlet but then they'd probably be more of a pain to transport.
