Bob Lazar Story

This guy claims to have worked for the government trying to reverse engineer some alien technology. His story seems to stand out from your typical ufo encounter story. Some details seem to be rather convincing... at least he appears to genuinely believe his own story. Worth lending your ear:

I started to think he made it all up book deals but recently there have been more and more people saying they drove him to the base and that they found recent transcripts (I think through FOIA) which shows his name

He even recounted the same story in court. Either he lied under oath, or he believes it.

He is a fucking fraud and a crank. This one was fun to listen to if only because it's fun to pick apart crazy people.

He didn't even actually work at Area 51, he was on the contractors' list.

If you know he's a fraud and can pick apart his story I want to see it.

For example the "gravity wave generator" thing: gravity is the weakest fundamental force, nobody knows why.

If there was really an object that can generate some sort of gravitational repulsion that can even counteract the gravity of the earth somehow, to the point it can actually hold off your hand in a similar manner and strength to electrical repulsion (for example why you can't put your hand through a solid object, that's because of electrical forces)... It would literally have the power to destroy the world. Nothing in your body interacts with gravity that strongly.

Consider that the entire earth's gravitational field loses to your legs at pulling you down. Now Bob Lazar is saying something can straight repel your hands like it's impossible touch and it's gravity based... Dude is straight wrong. Even if he saw a device that behaved like he described (doubtful), it's gotta be something electromagnetic.

The only real response to this is "yeah that's what our current science says, not alien science", to which I'll say "sorry, Bob Lazar"s story vs the entire body of scientific knowledge thus far: Bob Lazar loses

He was arrested for running a brothel and said Moscovium was impossible to synthesize, which we have synthesized. So whatever happened at Area 51, Bob Lazar is probably not the type of person who is best suited to assess if it was truly alien tech or not, even if we don't point out he isn't credible whatsoever.
The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

When he was arrested he told the judge the same story he has told the world. When he said element 115 was impossible to synthesize, back in the late 80's, it was impossible until they made it possible in 2004. He didn't claimed to have worked in area 51, and he claims to not know if the tech came from aliens or something else. Maybe you're right about the gravity generator. But I don't believe you are an expert in that field.

There are reports of phenomena similar to what he described that might be more related to electromagnetic effects, like the infamous "3M force field"

I honestly think the most likely explanation for Lazar's crazy stories as well as most Area 52 speculation is that the government probably compartmentalizes their R&D and uses alien imagery for it.

So for example when one team gets blueprints related to some other classified project, they only get what they need to know and everything else is obfuscated with alien themed shit so they don't reveal the actual specs, or what that part is supposed to do.

Some employees don't catch the hint so they start babbling about alien tech.

    That would make sense.

He claimed it was impossible to synthesize because it could only form in the core of RR Lyrae stars (if I recall correctly), not "we can't do it right now".

He didn't claimed to have worked in area 51, and he claims to not know if the tech came from aliens or something else.

He claims to have worked on shit with Area 51, which is pretty much the same claim. I'm skeptical of his claims on pretty much everything prior to any aliens entering the mix.

You don't need to be an expert, it is very basic science. Like I said, your legs easily overcome the force of gravity of the entire planet we live onz at 9.8m/s². Meanwhile Bob is claiming some kind of gravitational repulsor the size of a basketball hard stopped his hand. Your hand and arm no problem generating 9.8m/s²

Even if he isn't absolutely bullshitting about the device, he doesn't know enough about the science to be worth listening to.

Even if he doesn't understand the science behind the tech the idea that the government has come into possession of technology like what he describes and has been secretly testing it is pretty incredible and worth considering.

He quite literally claimed that the US govt had collected nearly 1000 lbs of moscovium and it was being handled like a stable fuel. We know moscovium is ridiculously unstable. He is just wrong about a bunch of shit.

And the other thing us, he's not claiming to be "random guy who knows some stuff".

He is claiming to be a brilliant engineer who was brought in to work on Area 51 rocket technology. Not understanding the basic science is a massive red flag against his claims et al.

I have literally no understand of the science behind it, so I have no idea which of you is more correct. But he seems to believe his own story, so if he's wrong I don't think he's intentionally lying. If I have to choose between the guy who trolls me all the time online, and the guy with the incredible story, well...

Right. It's mostly fascinating to low IQ people who don't know what he's talking about but enjoy it as a sci fi story. That's fine, just know it's sci fi.

If it's sci fi, it's incredibly compelling and it's author doesn't seem to think it's fiction either. I mean, he repeated the same story in court, under oath.

You mean so far all the isotopes we have synthesized have exploded when we've made them. It is possible that a stable isotope exists and we just haven't synthesized it yet.
