my entire acreage of land, the portion i grow hay on before letting cows and horses onto them, the portion my cows eat on, where the horses eat, the llamas, even the inner compound of the farm itself down to my T Mastiffs, do organic. I also do gluten free because of the recent known years of monsanto. i still eat wheat items, just not in pasta where the toxins are unable to escape. I do the rice version of that. it all tastes the same. and organic has not been pesticide sprayed. why have animals and use pesticides, i might as well just give them and all animals entering my land a death sentence. that means my mastiffs could not chase the mountain lions, like a dog chasing a cat, literally hahahaha

Glyphosate is safe its the street dealers putting their "inert" cut in it that makes it dangerous

Where is your acre of land at? I am finding land in the mountains near Shata is fairly cheap. I was thinking of a 2 acre parcle which can be bought at around 7-8 per acre.

I would save up for more but you have to pay like 100 bucks a month per acre in taxes up there. somewhere between 50-100 depending on how much an acre is. also the Government can come in and reassess taxes if property value goes up. it doubles and your payments will double or close to it.

so If I purchased 20 acres I would have to pay like 2000 a month just in property taxes. it's best to find a nice corner area near a hill and purchase a few acres there.

I would like to bore into the side of a bluff if I could find a property with a bluff next to it and use it to store food. Lime rock naturally keeps cool and just blowing a fan inside a cave with lime and sandstone in it will stay around 40 degrees f. it's like a natural fridge. dry too.

then just create a door that looks like apart of the rock and hide yo shit in there.

lots of meth heads out in the countryside these days. If I place Solar Panels to go off grid, I would have to have some kind of large shutter that can fold over my solar panels so they wouldn't get stolen by meth-heads while I'm back down in the bay area. I would only be able to spend like 4-6 times a year going up there for a few days each visit while I still work back down here.

but eventually I can semi retire for a year or two and enjoy my own property instead of living in a fucking old folks home.

Unless we get lucky and this happens first

Also the Washington Post just posted a story about an asteroid that was big enough to destroy a large city had swung by us this past week (last night?) and no one saw it coming.

Plus this back in Feb 2019 in Cuba

A meteor has rocked the skies of western Cuba, exploding mid-air, shattering windows and raining charred meteorite rocks on people’s homes. Before its spectacular demise, the space rock was seen flying above Florida.

The meteor exploded near the town of Viñales, in the Pinar del Río province, Friday, with witnesses reporting hearing two loud blasts as it disintegrated. The body left a huge trail of smoke in the sky and showered the ground with small rocks.

Are you talking about things like lab grown meat?
It is the only logical thing to do at this point, it'll end animal suffering, it'll be necessary when the world's population increases, it helps people avoid disease, it'll be cheaper, "better for the environment" etc.

AS teehee said, it's a scam...I've lived an age eating all kinds of filthy shit and I'm still older than the life expectancy of most humans for most of human history...being about 35 or so on average...and all they ate back then was organic food.

Organic food is a fucking scam. It is literally worse for the environment and is just s way to mark up regular ass food. Something like 98% of organic farms are owned by the same titans of conventional agriculture do they just found a way to rape upper class whites harder on basic ass food like tomatoes and shit, now that it's gotten affordable and inexpensive.

Had some organic watermelon offered at work at Amazon and it was sweet and crisp like I remembered as a kid.. Not offered any time that at safeway, trader joes , lucky ..etc. So organic can be better for at least some foods

Whole foods sold out to amazon. They were already lying about the origins of some of their products before the official sell-out though.

That's cool that you grow tomatos though. Tomatoes are awesome. I never grow them but they are great. You should look into aquaponics since you grow tomatoes.

People are against modern technology when it comes to producing food. But most of those people aren't going to produce enough on their own from dirt anyway.
