Unless the head of the dremel tool is the size of the nail head or every single nail is sticking up already you will gouge the shit out of your pristine pallet wood at every nail site. Which will require tons of expensive ugly wood filler and ugly up your beautiful pallet furniture. -
2019-07-29 at 6:37 PM UTCI reckon a disk grinder would save ur silly ass about 9 out of 10 hrs of nail head grinding.

actually yes.
there are burrs the size of nail heads and even smaller.
tungsten carbide burrs to be specific. spin that thing at 25k rpm and a nailhead would be gone in less than a minute.
if you fancy something better there are diamond encrusted burrs too. -

And now we are back to a massive labor increase for no qualitative return. -

Agreed. strikning pallets with hammers and sickles would be stupid. Using a hammer and a flat bar to gently wedge the bar between wood and use simple leverage to pop them apart in under 20 seconds per board however is called working smarter. -

if you consider spending lots of callories on maimed and deformed and possibly cracked woods as smart,
then i guess thats 'smart'. -
