That really does work. I knew a guy that laid one out inside. He patch the windows with sheet metal and brazing. Framed the inside with 1 x 2 for nailers. Closed up the inside with tongue in groove cedar and trimmed it in juniper. The thing was pretty sweet. -

you just grind away the head of the nails, take the pallet apart and then pull whats left of the nail with a plier.
it'd get expensive for someone homeless, grinding down metal means you'll have to replace the heads fairly regularly

there's a group that used them for underground bunkers, apparently they work quite well if you don't dig too deep

just like how the military industrial complexes had convinced americans that foreign wars and interventions are good for the country,
the tool industrial complexes, both powered or non-powered, had successfully sold americans the lie that it is important to use the right tool for the right job, so that they spend ¾ of their paychecks on tools that are unnecessary.
black cat, white cat, or a dog who self identifies as a cat, if it catches rats, is a good cat. -

tungsten carbide borr such as these
works thru mild iron like hot butter thru knives. and because tungsten carbides are harder than mild iron, it practically lasts forever.
and they're cheap even by 3rd world standards. -

That is an analogy not an argument. Try again. -

Take up the tool argument. Tell me why you think it is better to use any tool on hand than to use the right tool for the right job. By tools we are talking about a device or implement, especially one held in the hand, used to carry out a particular function. Go... -

its really a culture thing.
we chinese prefer simplicity like how our 97.63% of our foods can be dealt with with chopsticks and soup spoons,
while a full course western food, especially french, would require an array of surgical tools involving spoons of all size and knives of all curvature and some of them implememts i dont even know what their name is.
ditto with paintings. -

Culture has nothing to do with the argument at hand. Please confine your debate to the topic of which is more effective. The right tool for the right job or any tool you have laying around for whatever job you face. -

if you cant see the cost savings gained from having to buy only one tool as opposed to having to buy two,
them no amount of data can help you see because your logically blind.
