2019-07-27 at 10:38 PM UTCI'd say the fires in the Arctic region are being caused by chunks of burning debris raining in from the debris field riding ahead of the Nemesis system, which has now conjoined our own. The system is approaching from an angle, behind the Sun, where the Arctic would be the place both fully exposed to it and nearest it. The governments are hiding the whole system through use of giant projection screens, so as not to cause mass panic worldwide.

Colder in the winter and hotter in the summer. so the thing reforms but then melts
Something to do with surface tension in the ice that is formed is mostly air. so the air releases faster into the atmosphere (or something like that.. is what they believe now i saw on a documentary)
this is why Polar Bears are drowning. they're used to ice breaking in the summer and swim back what used to be relatively close for them to solid ground. now they're getting dragged out faster and they're too far out in the water to make it back and too few chunks of ice left to hold their weight on to break between swims. so they're drowning.
