2019-07-27 at 11:01 AM UTCi've never seen anything that would suggest rommel engaged in war crimes personally, other than just being on the same side as war criminals is about all afaik. wasn't his family complaining about some movie that showed him as a war criminal by association a few years ago or summing?

Seconds before the bomb exploded, Hitler stopped mid statement, looked around, as if listening to a voice in the next room, suddenly stood up, and appeared to intend to leave the room. The bomb (a 2.2 lb block of plastic explosive wrapped in brown paper) then exploded, killing four and critically wounding 20. Hitler himself was mostly shielded from the blast by the thickness of the conference table.

again, not a war crime. murder, attempted murder and pretty much definitely treason against the nazi's. but not a war crime. just committing a crime while there is a war on does not constitute a war crime.
