Australia is somewhere where land claims would seem pretty simple to me. Also the land is worth less ppp than it is in many other "western" countries as the coast is most important and the rest is pretty much worthless unless you have a coal mine or a sheep farm you say is actually in New Zealand and nobody will check.
Rent profiteering in urban areas seems to me to be the only way using real estate as capital in Australia.
also, do Australians set up sweatshops and shit like thst in South East Asia? I haven't heard of it but it seems perfect for them to cut down on imports and have a forward operating base. I wonder how many kangaroo bucks are stuck in Singapore at any given moment.
