But the bible does provide prophetic names, dates, places and describe actual events in detail. The only real problem here is you haven't studied them. The bible is eerily accurate when it comes to foretelling the future. -

But it did. You are reading that verse from a translation of English. Had you been reading that verse, you know, how it would have been written in the Hebrew Language to know the proper meaning to each symbol. The Hebrew language is compounded. Meaning, 1 symbol can mean up to 7 different words. Like the words THERE-THEIR-THEY'RE-THEY ARE. Even in that example you have 3 different meanings and 2 have the same meaning. Just with the Hebrew, there are 7 possibilities. -

You can't understand it unless you examine the whole picture. It's like you can't see the mountain if you're standing on it, you have to withdraw and view it from a distance in order to see it all. You have to dig through hundreds of passages and research each one, follow all the associated references, and then you find out for a fact that America really is the King of the South. It's not like you can just point to one passage and say there's the proof. But it all starts with Daniel chapters 10-12. If you start there and then branch out from that point, look up and research all the associated references, you will discover the King of the North is Russia, and the King of the South is America. -
