Most Mexicans identify as (shocker) Mexican, and not 'partially indigenous' as most of them are multiple generations removed from any sort of native culture. Same goes for most Mexicans not identifying as European. It's well understood that Mexican means a mix of European/native descent and the percentage of these mixtures varies from place to place, and people take pride in being a unique mixture that exists nowhere else on Earth, just like your people once took pride in being raped by Vikings and gaining red hair.
