one or two of these used in conjuction with a solar panel would be pretty cool. at the least you'd be able to power a smartphone, a light and most likely a small kettle quite easily. if you do it right you could possibly even power a small heater in winter as well, at least for the most necessary times like first thing in morning.
did you have any sort of size in mind for this pallet house? like are you thinking just big enough to get in to sleep, or maybe a bit more roomier. i'm guessing if its too big the city would soon be on your ass to knock it down tho.

The best kind of soil has nutrients in it already and doesn't need to be constantly fertilized. Also human shit is a terrible fertilizer.
Manures are best when combined with other natural fertilizers like glacial rock dust. THEY aren't very good on their own unless you are using it for a specific nutrient requirement like bat guano for the fruiting stageThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Fuck off asshole. I was. He posted what I thought were shitty ideas about building a pallet shelter and I told him why his ideas were shitty. That prevents anyone from using his shitty ideas. I am planning to build a house out of skids/pallets since I seen some people who've done it before. I'm also considering other ideas. Anyone done something similar? Any ideas I could add to or modify? Any thoughts? I'd love some input to this project.

You should get a netted hammock and a tarp instead. It will protect you from the bugs and rain while still being portable enough for you to hobble around. Or just buy a fucking tent like a normal homeless person. I mean, it's neat and all that you want to play house but let's get real here. Fucking solar panels? All you need is a solar powered charger. Stop spending money on dope and stupid shit like pallets and LED lights and start getting your shit together. Don't 'dig in' and plan for the winter, my fucking god. You should be trying to get out of your situation by winter. Have you just completely given up on life and trying to care for your son?
I'm usually pretty happy when I read posts about how fucked up your life has gotten, but this is really depressing. No human, not even you, should be living like this. This shack is just going to fall apart and possibly hurt you even more in the process.
