    1. link in OP doesn't specify how it's calculated, I don't think they're converting 100% of income to rent, probably calculating living costs as well
    2. that's for a 2-bedroom apartment, generally speaking if you actually need 2 bedrooms you're not going to be on a single minimum-wage income

Yeah, gont I make like a tinge over 22-24 at peak hours (minus cash tips), but I also have to buy gas for driving around all day with my income and half the time I make prolly only 15 or so, and my rent is 850 and I still make enough money to buy retarded stuff and eat out a lot, so idk wtf they're talking about, I don't budget though.

Even 650 will get a pretty decent apartment around here where it's kinda expensive but not AS expensive as like campus town...

You don't need to pay some twat $20,000 a semester to read a few fucking books…you can do that all by yourself.

Within 1yr of coming to the US I was a department head at Compaq with 3 shifts (103 people) reporting to me.

Not bragging, pointing out this idea you NEED to go to school to learn is bullshit and you're buying into the brainwashing. 99% of idiots I meet with degrees are as dumb as a min wage worker…I might even say dumber because they have student loans.

    EDUCATE THYSELF.

thats just due to your british accent which gave out an illusion of smart.

i gayrantee you that if you go back in time and start over with american accent instead you'll got nowhere. you probably be homeless now too.

Minus ebay/paypal fees about $30 profit for 5 mins of "work".

I average about $1000-1500 a month (net) JUST doing that and use the money as "play" money. Again I educated myself on what is collectable and desirable on ebay and the fact most thrift stores don't have a fucking clue what they are selling.

Just two weeks ago I got an Amiga computer off Letitgo for $100. Stuck a Gotek floppy drive in it ($20), cleaned it up..sold it for $350.

Sitting at home whining on the internet about your min wage is recockulous…there are 1001 ways to make money on the side. LEGAL too.

Spend less time on TC and more time on being productive.

thats because you have a head start.

if you were a plumber or a carpenter you wouldnt have time to get off work to shop at the thrift store and fiddle with your phone during lunch break.

your like donald j trump who bragg about making his millions after getting some million dollar loan from his dad.

    Canada is retarded though

Food here costs WAAAAY more like meat, cheese and bread. Gotta hunt for a loaf of bread under $5 and if you can find one it's probably some wonderbread shit with high fructose corn syrup.

I get nature bread from the food bank though but I don't buy much meat it's too expensive. When I used to live near the border of Idaho people would go to Costco in the United States and buy cheese, milk, ham and all kinds of stuff for cheap.
$100 worth of food was enough for 3 weeks compared to 1 week when you buy it in Canada

Even kraft dinner costs more here.

Yeah, but that's canadian money so it's really not all that much, plus I forgot that 1k in canadian money like, isn't that much lol. So you need $765 in order to get an apartment, idk if that includes utilities or not, to be fair i guess my room has utilities included plus I have free laundry and tide pods and free cleaning and misc supplies and TP, and all the yard work and wifi and cable and shit is taken care of....

do you buy kraft dinner there? is it different/better? I haven't had it in years and years because the powdered cheese is gross, I do like the veleeta shells but I'd rather just make my own these days, although I suck ass at making rue.
