   Folks, why can u go to jail for writing bad checks, but not for unpaid credit card debt?

   Not a bad question. I can conjure up some bullshit answer. Bad checks are literally claiming to have money that you dont have and nobody gave you permission to have.
   
   Credit cards grant you the choice to use money you dont you have.
