Well done, grasshoppah.
I thought there was something off about it, as well. Lack of movement in his head and neck at the moment of explosion was one thing, but there was more. The blast just didn't seem to cause real damage. The setup was a little too perfect. Little things that enough people would overlook and begin sharing as truth.
Considering people have lost property and parts of themselves, this little stunt is pretty classless. -
2016-12-18 at 1:21 PM UTCSomething “off” about it, like a phone literally violently exploding with enough force (psychological shock is also a possible contribution) to render him unconscious. -_-
-
2016-12-18 at 1:28 PM UTC^you don't know it rendered him unconscious.. unless it said that in the fake articles... he could of been in shock and been likeo ooooohmygawwwd
but i digress
check out his hit single "working class hero's work" where he shills for the working class

Right, but no. There should have been plenty of concussive force. His neck should have snapped (not necessarily broken) away from it. He probably should have lost his ear and possibly some damage to his eye. A blast on such a soft part of the skull could easily cause some intracranial bleeding. He'd be lucky to survive. Instead, I read about this story on Phandroid before any other news vendor... -
2016-12-18 at 1:51 PM UTCFake. I can see the pixels

2016-12-18 at 3:28 PM UTCwhen a lithium cell burns up it doesn't pop like that, it's more like a flare firing up

Another reason it didn't seem legit. I didn't register that consciously, but it was nagging at my subconscious. Li-ion battery fires are typically due to the fact that they combust instead of explode, though explosion is possible. -
2016-12-18 at 6:47 PM UTCit wasn't bothering me because it was obviously fake. since when do they just put up a video of a celebrity getting maimed by a bomob / car wreck / shot / ect.. just up on the internet with no real fake news reporting on it.
