TV and Film did this in the 60s and 70s and then it stopped somewhere in the 80s and became more self segregated it seems. I mean you had Benson with an all white family so he was the Token but the Lead. and you had Bill Cosbey and eventually Prince of Bella-ire and Mart'in
but again, this had token whites while most films went back to mostly all White or All Black with few Hispanic or Asian films, filmed in America
So yeah, it's weird how we were shifting towards race relationship when all of a sudden something happened and we slipped backwards. -

I said "nobody alive today had anything to do with any of that"
The person leading the group tells her "I know what you're saying, but this isn't the time for that"
And SJW gets mad and starts on the "yeah, of course it's not. It's never the right time to talk about it. We need to blahblahblah" and she got escorted out of the room
And I thought, "and that's why you're in IMU"
