Doesn't Canada have separation of Church and state? I feel like dudes like this shouldn't be able to run on religious ideals that would effect others. "Stoping the spread" of something which people fundamentally are, is also pretty discriminatory. Not just opinionated. You can be against gay marriage I guess but once you start talking about people like a disease to be eradicated, you have lost your right to free speech. Imagine someone handing out flyers promoting we stop the spread of Africans.
This is also not the first time this dude has been fined for hate speech lol. He's a failed politician who moved to the Philippines in 2015. Molested as a child, went to jail, found god, wants to make homosexuality and abortion illegal.
First fine was 17.5k in 2005 for distributing hateful material. By the same tribune, so this is the second fine for the same thing and probably why its so much higher.

Anybody can call anyone anything they like. It's called free speech, fully protected under rights and freedom laws. Just because some lawless jackass calling themselves a judge says different does not make it so. I'll call anyone anything I want, and if you fine me, I'll just throw it in the garbage and not pay a cent.
