    depends on how good you are and what kind of work you're doing. A good editor/typesetter can make a lot of money, but so can somebody who designs graphics for websites. Generally the further away you get from sites like Upwork/Fiver, the better. It's a good place to start though. I've done both but I'm shit at gay porn. My favorite thing to do is typesetting for publication. It can pay really well because a lot of people don't even want to fuck with learning how to make their stuff look nice and neat. If you find a good cover artist to work with you, you can include it in a sort of package deal and draw in a lot of people that way. If you can do it yourself it's even better, but books/websites are definitely the way to go. Don't fuck with those 10 dollar article gigs or making logos for 5 bucks on Fiverr.
    
    If you're shit and all your customers are disappointed just keep trying. You can always do a cleanse of your bad reviews by switching accounts. There's nothing to lose and everything to gain by doing this. Once you get some regulars you'll hit a flow and finally have some regular work coming in without having to search for it. I used to have this but I decided to stop doing freelance work about a year ago and ended up ignoring a bunch of my customers. One guy even paid me without me doing or accepting any work. My reviews are all still 100% somehow.
