"MONTGOMERY, Ala. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Alabama lawmakers have passed a bill that would allow courts to order chemical castration for someone convicted of a sex crime against children under the age of 13.
Bill HB 379 would have child sex offenders undergo chemical castration before they leave prison.
The bill was introduced by State Rep. Steve Hurst who hopes this type of punishment would make sex offenders think twice.
According to the bill, chemical castration would be a mandatory condition of parole for lawbreakers over the age of 21 who are convicted of sex crimes.
The bill is now waiting for a signature from Governor Kay Ivey to have it signed into law.
The offenders would be required to foot the bill for the procedure. Refusing to undergo the castration would constitute a violation of parole, the bill reads."
Several items of note:
The law would only apply to offenders over the age of twenty one upon victims under the age of thirteen.
The law would only apply to those seeking parole. They could serve out their time and leave without being chemically castrated. -

Remember the saying "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer"? Sorta like that. The more apart of society they are, the less likely they are to abuse children, when their mental health issue is known.
Making it so people have to register, can't find work, or find a place to live doesn't help, it makes it worse. Once people are pushed out of society they have no incentive to not commit a crime. Especially when we are talking avout2watching child porn, wnwre they haven't harmed a child. You get them, and get them help. Stop making the subject taboo so teens who develop this issue can get the help they need earlier before they harm a child.
That's the best way to do it. All these harsh punishments (which I do believe in long jail time, potentially for life, as well as the death penalty in some cases, but I do not agree with castration of any type unless it's voluntary, without things like giving them a lighter sentence if they opt to do that, making it 100% their choice, freely. With the jail time I believe they shoule mandatorily be in intense psychiatric care with regualar counseling.)
It's a mental illness and yes some assholes harm children because of it, but it needs to be worked on like a mental ill, rather than demonized right off the bat. -

thats wrong way to look at it.
its actually a gain, getting sexed as a child is actually one of the greatest experiences you can get in life, and its the ones that no body wanted to have sex when they're a child that should be ashamed of themselves.

no, if you look back at history you will realize that its the witch hunters and flat earthers that burnt galileo at stake that needed all the counsellings and psychiatrical help they can get.
the thing with being a sheep in the middle a crowd of thousands of other sheeps is that you'll never be able to see where your going till you see the sheeps in front of you slide down a cliff and you tried to stop but cant because your being shoved forward by all the other sheeps the back.

Only from your perspective. For a child having a fat sweaty bennt manipulate and force themselves on them is a fucking horrific experience they'll never get over.
